Shoot. GOG it is then!

I got this game in a bundle a while back, but only unearthed it now. This was excellent. Solid writing, gorgeous art, lots of stuff to poke at and interact with. The characters were well written, and that was a much more realistic depiction of cult dynamics than I was expecting. I saw in the other comments that this project isn't a priority for you, but I really hope I get to see the rest of this story someday; I already combed through your itch.io page and didn't see anything, but if there's more somewhere else I'd love to know!

I'd also like this, as I'm trying to de-Googlify my general existence. I like using Mitch for phone games!

I have not.

Hey, I'm on Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3 (equivalent to Ubuntu Focal Fossa) and I cannot get the Linux v4 version of the game to run. I've tried leaving the Mabel_PC.zip zipped and unzipping it. Any idea what's going on?

Hi. I'm on Linux Cinnamon 20.3, and I can't get the game to run. The title page will come up, but it crashes as soon as I try to start the game. Any idea what might be happening there? I can get the crash log if you want to look into it.

Has anyone else (on Linux) had any issues with the game slowing down dramatically and desyncing from the music? My laptop is ancient, so I'm not sure whether this is a game problem or an old hardware problem, and I'd appreciate hearing from other people about it. This doesn't seem to be happening with any other games that can run on my laptop.

It wouldn't be that big a deal, but it makes the rhythm aspect of combat much more difficult, since I have to rely entirely on visual cues and even then the game can become slower or faster without warning.

I can't quite work out how to get this game running on Linux Mint. My computer doesn't seem capable of recognizing it as a game. Has anyone else had trouble/does anyone else know what to do? Playing in browser is a bit of a pain, since hitting spacebar also makes the whole page scroll down in my browser.

That worked! Thanks!

I was able to download volumes 2 and 3 with no trouble, but when I try to download volume 1 it says there's nothing to download. Any idea what's happening, or what I should do?

this game is For A Me

Ahh, good to know.

It says in the trailer that this game is available for Linux, but I'm not seeing it here or on Steam as an option, and I don't see an option to buy it directly from the website either. Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks! It's working beautifully so far, and I'll let you know if there are any issues. I really appreciate it!

I'm trying to run this game in Linux Mint and I can't even get it installed. The itch.io app aborts shortly after downloading, and when I try using the files directly it can't load them. Any idea what's going on or how to fix it?
